              Space Available

              Erica Preli (IT)

            2. A speech corner, a white box, a blind date; a stage to perform, bring thoughts, to spread words… If you have a project you would like to show and share, or if you have an idea to present, a topic to discuss, a project you didn’t get the chance to show; then you are welcome to use Space Available for your needs.

It is a space devoted to empowering self-initiative, communal-initiative, any initiative! Use it in any way you feel and wish; you can set up an exhibition, organize a symposium, presentations, performances, theater, dance and more…

              HOW

A minimum organization is needed in order to give Space to everyone. You can check the calendar and sign up in advance: Please indicate: Name, Title, Topic and how long you will occupy the space or show up and sign on the calendar (you will find it there).

              ABOUT THE PROJECT

Space Available is a project that blends into the space in which it is hosted. It is a platform for others, in every place where it can happen, existing only within another platform as a parasite. It takes the shape of the places, creating public space within it, bringing universality into those contexts.

The project has an ambivalent political value, the creation of a common ground, and the use of an opportunity to dupe the system of an existing platform and open up the chance to everyone. Space Available can happen every time I have the opportunity to participate in any kind of event that involves a selection or an invitation.

This event is a part of the OFF Program – open space devoted to workshops, interventions, and other presentations and activities related to graphic design. The authors are solely responsible for the nature of this event. The program is subject to change.
