Judge a Book by Its Cover

I.T.U. – Lana Cavar, Narcissa Vukojević (HR)

            2. This research project is focusing on Croatian book cover design of the Yugoslavian era (1950–1990). The authors searched through over 10,000 books in public libraries, archives, private collections and second-hand bookstores for books to exhibit. A relatively small selection of about 500 book covers are exhibited in Brno. The books, from over forty publishers, represent the work of more than fifty graphic designers. Many of these designers are relatively unknown to the public today.

This event is a part of the OFF Program – open space devoted to workshops, interventions, and other presentations and activities related to graphic design. The authors are solely responsible for the nature of this event. The program is subject to change.
